Sunday morning walk

We got out right after breakfast to walk along the dirt road here that goes down to a bridge over this creek..about a mile one way.  We came back along the edge of the creek.  It was still very shadowy in parts as the sun was not high in the sky but this section reflected the blue of the sky.  

The photo in the extras is a beaver dam that actually has rocks instead of just trees.  Maybe the rocks have always been there along with the tree limbs but we have never seen rocks like this in the 5 years we have been leasing this house.  The creek is very low right now which might account for the rocks being exposed.  Can beavers pick up rocks with their paws!???
