First view of the mountains

If you take a bus south from Buenos Aires you cross a lot of Pampa, and it's a long time till you finally see the snow-capped foothills of the Andes, with the distinctive shape of the Lanin volcano (3,750 metres) in the distance. From here it's only a short hop to house #2 in San Martín de los Andes.
