Duck Race Local news report.
Another day of surreal fun racing ducks with a Blip Meet thrown in for good measure.
The race is a fund raiser for a local children's charity, now in it's 5 th year. More entrants this year. Folk display great inventiveness in creating their ducks. Initial race with wee yellow ducks became hilarious as tide turned just before the end of race, so ducks started returning back upstream. The paddlers on boards had to work very hard to get them to the finish. Top picture : reaching Fye bridge. Bottom pic : all the carefully decorated ducks being retrieved after their race. Great fun : the sun shone, folk appeared, money raised !.
