Day 241 of 366 - St Leonard's Church!
Today's image was taken in the Village of Charlecote in Warwickshire. The view is of the parish church of St Leonard. The church as seen here dates back to to the mid 19th Century. It was built between 1850-1853 on the site of a much older church which would have dated back to the 12th century. A striking part of this current church is the octagonal tower and spire.
The photo was taken using the Camera app ExposerGL on my iPhone 6.
First I used the app Snapseed to edit the picture. I cropped and straightened the image. I then applied the Tonal Contrast preset. I decreased the Highlights and boosted the Ambiance, Saturation, Warmth and Sharpness. Next I used a new app that I just bought called Artista Impresso. I used a preset called Centre Detail in the Alla Prima section of the app. I adjusted the preset a little by making the brush size a bit smaller and enhancing the colour slightly. Finally I used PhotoToaster to add the Clarity preset, the Canvas Texture and the Leather frame.
