The rising sun

Is incredibly orange these days. This phone picture doesn't even do its color justice.
I enjoy the quiet late summer weather very much. A walk with the dog in the morning, reading in the shade in the afternoon (temps are around 32 each day) and meeting friends on the evening. The nights are getting cooler.
Life is calm and good.
For us.
I know that it is not that way for everyone. 25 wildfires are burning in the west and everybody who lives here knows what that means for the evacuees, the wildlife and the firefighters.
