Thoughtful Friends

Today's 'Blip' should have been all about the end of our "Mountain Adventure" and the start of our "Hawaiian Adventure" and in part it will be but this 'Blip' is also partly about 'Aunt' Carolyn and 'Uncle Ben.
We came down out of the San Bernadino Mountains today, in about an hour we went from 7,000 ft and 28*C to sea level and 42*C, it is easier to breathe though.
On arrival at 'Grizzly Towers' in La Verne there was a parcel addressed to Samantha with her birthday gifts from Carolyn and Ben inside.
To us they may look like fur balls but to Star Trek aficionados they are 'Tribbles' and only available from a US website. For Carolyn and Ben to go to the trouble of ordering them and having them delivered here has made a young girl very happy - friends indeed.
Today we ate out at the Rainforest Cafe for lunch and this evening were invited to eat at Janet's parents house a really enjoyable end to day 4 of our US Adventure 2012.
