We paid a visit to Red Square today and went into the GUM building which is amazing. Full of expensive shops but the architecture is incredible. Red square looked a bit like the Edinburgh Festival with a spectator stand in the middle of it for a military tattoo competition plus stalls all the way round selling drinks, ice cream and various goodies. Lenin would be dismayed if he could see it.
