He's Home!
Tony returned from the wet North Yorkshire forest yesterday and today has been a good washing and airing and drying day with wall to wall sunshine and a warm breeze, just what we needed to dry out his tent!
It's been a busy Bank Holiday all round with a trug full of beans to top and tail and blanch and freeze (I experienced bean overload by late afternoon and gave it up till tomorrow!) We managed to get everything dried out and stored away just as our neighbours arrived back with their trailer tent so we were on hand to help push it and they did not have to negotiate our washing!
Sunday roast was shunted on to today so with our chicken we had potatoes, onion gravy, beans, peas and cabbage with all the vegetables coming from the allotment, only the broccoli and carrots from Sainsburys. You can't beat fresh veg!
My blip is of various bits of camping gear airing on the washing lines.
