Busy day again at Speke on a hectic Bank Holiday. Lots of great visitors and very full tours. Started to pack my bags ready to take the grandchildren on a history tour of the area around Edinburgh. We are going to see Spott House where Miss Watt from Speke spent time, then on to the battle site at Pinkie Cleugh, where my character William Norris (1500-1568) lost his eldest son. Hope to get lots of blips. Anyway time ran out and I ended up in the garden and caught the last of the sunlight.
