Intoductory talk.....

...before going into Ightham Mote today and really worth the rushed coffee to be there to hear it. So much history to this beautiful medieval moated manor house, now owned by the National Trust. 

A second visit and we were among many visitors today, enjoying the Bank Holiday ....and another glorious day of sunshine!

My extra shows the bedroom of the last owner who bequeathed the house to the NT just before he died. So tidy! So minimalist! A rare commodity!
