Some rain & a late bloom

Usually at this time of year I'm leaving my hibiscus plant, from Miss Edna, to just die off so I can cut it back for the winter. I've never before gotten a bloom on it this late in the year. This is a May blooming plant!

Had a thunderstorm Sunday & yesterday. It put some water back in the creek but not enough for it to be flowing. The tropical depression off the coast should give us more rain today so maybe that will help.

Not sure what I am going to put on my schedule for today as it's still early but thinking what my options are. :-)
