A routine dental check up in Edinburgh followed by a cultural enlightening in the company of dwalletta. A visit to the Dovecot Studios in Infirmary Street to have a look round The Scottish Endarkenment: Art and Unreason|1945 to the Present  on its last day in the light. The exhibition proposes that "...many Scottish artists after 1945 have found inspiration in the dark as much as in the light".

I don't know about that but it was pretty dark in there.
