La Rhune

Today we took the little cog railway fir the 40 minute journey to the summit of the Rhune at 905 meters. This is the first summit in the Pyrenees offering views of the basque coast from Biarritz to San Sebastien and east across the chain of mountains. Although a fine warm day, it was a bit hazy and the sun could have improved the lighting but we enjoyed it!
It was incredibly busy and parking was at a premium but we were lucky enough to park near the station second time round!

Thank you for all your kind comments. Hope to catch up soon, but somebody needs his evening meal! Now I'm able to do more, he has quickly relinquished several jobs! I've used a collage because I'm unable to post an extra from the tablet.
