VC Hands

     The  National Portrait Gallery now put some modern portraits among the old ones . While I was in the Tudors and Stuarts section  looking at hands ( I enjoy concentrating on something like that ) I saw  these hands in the portrait  of Johnson Beharry  who  was  awarded a Victoria Cross -  the highest military decoration for valour in the British and Commonwealth armed forces.
