Golden wedding party

Our friends around the corner celebrated their Golden Wedding with a wonderful lunch party today. The setting was lovely, the food and company excellent!
Little details make a difference - here is a pic of the table flowers. Each guest had a tiny gold box of salted caramel chocolates, and after the cake was cut, guests who wished could pop their piece into a gold bag to take home.
We wandered out into the gardens of the hotel with our coffees, meeting new people and old friends!
I think everyone had a lovely time - including the four little grandchildren who were very well behaved!
