Happy Days
Sitting on a limestone slope in the Cotswold Hills bathed in glorious sunshine, dogs at my feet, bees buzzing, ravens calling overhead, I couldn't have been happier and I am sure these tiny Common Blues were too!
Dane Banks NR near Stroud is one of my favourite haunts for butterflies but up until today, this year has been very disappointing with very little around. Maybe just a few sunny days has brought a few more out.
I've had a really lovely day as some of my Yorkshire family descended on me on their way south for brunch which we had in the breeze house as it was so pleasant outside. Great to see them and to catch up.
This is not a mystery macro as is the challenge as I really thought there was no mystery about what was going on here. Thanks to osuzanna for hosting.
