Misty morning
Last night must have been fairly cool as there was an inversion visible first thing this morning. We were going to go down to the local estuary but the cloud quickly burnt off in the bright sunshine, so we headed for Woodbury Common to see what was happening there.
When we arrived there was still a heavy mist hanging over the River Exe and no hills visible beyond. This was taken in the bright sunshine with the dew glinting on the heather and gorse. The mist can just be seen in the distance.
The rest of the day was spent on a circular walk around Colyton, followed by an exploration of Seaton Harbour.
