Krka national park

This was a fascinating day out, after the dry environs of the coastal area. Krka is a river system that has deposited tufa to create necklaces of waterfalls extending over several miles. The area is lush and green with frogs and damselflies and beautifully presented with boardwalks and a car free environment. We had a four hour boat trip and a climb of 550 steps to a cave in the scorching sun!
Then home for a lovely birthday meal with Tom and Sophie, Gilly and Graham, Rob and little George (asleep).
Great day.
