Rose is the post office boss and also hears every piece of gossip and confession in this village of Banfield. No roads but a boardwalk that connects one place to another. Pretty isolated life really. And along the inlet to get out there even more so.

As we head back to the city tomorrow I am so grateful for the three full weeks in such gorgeous land by the edge of the sea and for great weather and for all your looks and comments. I am so much more deeply aware of the goodness in humans as I have been exposed to only that and Rose here is the epitome of those qualities. Somehow the city and news got me out of touch with this goodness. Good to be "back".
