Old is New Again

In an all day training in Salem, so no time for photos!

Met a colleague from my Clackamas Community College days & his wife for dinner. They have recently moved to the area.

I noticed this fan in the restaurant where we dined, it is made from repurposed blades of old farm windmills. It took me back to my central California childhood where these windmills on wooden scaffoldswere a fixture in the landscape.
