Change over day

A bit of a long and rushed day really - we got up and packed everything away, loaded the car up and then took the disney bus to Animal Kingdom for a few hours. The transport system is amazing! Regular buses to all the parks.

One of the main reasons we wanted to go back was to ride the Kali River Rapids again. This time me and Charlotte got absolutely soaked!! Fortunately it was hot but it took ages for my shorts to dry out.

We also saw the Lion King show which was amazing and very cleverly done.

Eventually we decided we would have to head back to the hotel. We decided to have an hour by the pool to prolong the luxury but then we really had to go.

Our second week was in the Hawthorn Suites in Lake Buena Vista. I am ashamed to say that for the first week we never used the car and never left the massive Disneyworld complex. If we had realised how close we were to other restaurants etc I am sure we would have done, if only to stock up on drinks and snacks and get a decent breakfast.

The hotels were like chalk and cheese! It came recommended by a friend but I wasn't overly impressed when we got there. We were so tired that we just grabbed a lasagne at Walmart and heated it up in the room but it was disgusting! 

The hotel was fine really, just so different and a bit basic.
