Familiar Footing
Bit the bullet and dragged ourselves away from Abersoch last night.
Gave the caravan a good clean so it's ready for the next visit, which should be by the end of September.
Three loads of washing done and dried in the sun: always a bonus.
Went to see Rebecca, Mike and the girls who had just flown home from Thailand, landing at Manchester at dawn.
They had lots to tell us and it was just wonderful to see them.
They had called in at JL on the way home and school shoes had been purchased for the new school year which starts next week, so it really feels as if summer is nearly over.
My Grandsons are also just back from Portugal so all the family is back in Yorkshire.
After we left, we went up on the local moor and what a fine day to be up there, a bit too sunny to get the best shots of the heather but gosh it felt good to be up there.
Mr P had his running kit on so off he went for a run while l just walked around, marvelling at the sheer beauty of it all.
We've now rendezvoused at home, it feels good to be back!
