Glasgow Cathedral
Over in Glasgow today holding a combined Scottish Patient Safety Programme for Mental Health and Carers Trust event, which went well. We held the event in the St Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art, which is opposite Glasgow Cathedral.
The Cathedral, built before the Reformation from the late 12th century onwards and serving as the seat of the Bishop and later the Archbishop of Glasgow, the building is a superb example of Scottish Gothic architecture. It is also one of the few Scottish medieval churches (and the only medieval cathedral on the Scottish mainland) to have survived the Reformation not unroofed.
Last day of summer for us folks in the northern hemisphere, so lets see what Autumn has in store for us.
I hope you have all had a good day.
