Beechwood Bonanza

I had another wander up to my favourite fungi spotting spot today. Again, there was very little in the grassland, but plenty appearing in the beech woodland.  This fungus fruits there each year. I know that it's a Cortinarius, or Webcap, and it may well be one known as Purple Stocking. Looks good for it, except it's supposed to grow in coniferous woodland.
