Red Sky at Night

Should be a delight but this just reminds me how summer is drawing to a close and my commute home is going to get colder and darker.

I've been away from blip as it's just gotten crazy busy at work and I have not been good at managing the whole work life balance thing. - that is a thing people do, right??

I was supposed to be on leave today but was on the office - I was also supposed to be off last Monday and at Harry Potter world with my friends who were visiting but instead was in Mumbai on business. Paris was amazing last weekend but the fact I felt immense relief when Steve said he had to take his laptop to do a few emails on Saturday morning which meant I had a whole 2 hours to work on the weekend guilt free because my husband said he was taking work first is not necessarily a good thing.

We don't have kids and I have no idea how working couples who do have them do it!

In amongst the work chaos I do have drub stuff to blip. On the 19th I had a hospital appointment so got a cheeky wee visit with Lumi and then we had Leah and Mike visit which was great fun. And of course, Paris for our first anniversary which was awesome!

I need to just work on that balance thing.
