Space age
Kennedy Space Centre was on hubby's list of must sees when we were planning the holiday. I didn't think I would be that interested but found it fascinating and well worth the trip.
The coach tour around the site to see the launch pads and the enormous building where the rockets are assembled, with a flag the size of an American football pitch on the side of it was really interesting. And the film show about the space shuttle which opened up to show the real shuttle behind the screen was amazing.
We drove back into a real storm - amazing to watch but not so good to drive in. Tea was the Olive Garden again and we sat outside for half an hour before the rain eased off enough to run in!
