A roller coaster day

I'm not sure what to think tonight never mind what to Blip.  I took this at lunchtime just before the emergency meeting that was called for a site announcement, which as we were told 5 years ago we were being made redundant, was likely to confirm the rumours circulating since last week that our site has been sold.

And so it was, and no redundancy money.  Quite a bitter pill to swallow and it is balanced by not needing to go and find a part time job, but somewhat torpedoes our plans for 2017 and beyond.  And worst of all my last day at work for the next two and a half weeks so no chance to be able to talk and hear the ongoing consultations.
