Farewell Florida

Really sad today to be leaving. I had my doubts about the whole holiday but I can see now why people rave about the place. We said it would be a one off but we have all said we would like to return some day, although it would have to be a cheaper holiday and we would probably have a week of Disney and then a week at the coast.

The Virgin deal came into it's own today - we dropped the luggage at Disney Springs late morning and went off for some last minute shopping and some lunch. First stop was Ghiradellis chocolate shop for a few presents and one of their famous icecreams - delicious. We had a wander, spent a small fortune in the enormous Disney store, and then had some lovely fish and chips for lunch.

The time had come to say goodbye and drive to the airport. Apart from the rather hasty car drop off it all went smoothly, we didn't have any luggage to worry about so were able to have a leisurely pre-flight drink and look at duty free.

The flight was on time and we were on our way home.

It has certainly been the holiday of a lifetime, and we will never forget it. A fantastic family time with lots of memories made.
