Stranger things
My weirdness gift from the sea tonight, amongst many things, was this ceramic whatjamijig, which was used for goodness knows what in its first life but is just crying out to be put in a leather necklace in its second as a ready made pendant for a sea pedant. Yesterday's evening weirdness was an iron door handle, at least I think that's what it was. Also loads of old ginger beer and marmalade bottle shards. The day before was a another marble, this time not quite sea cooked but still lovely with swishes if deep blues and whites.
I'm squeezing in every visit I can after work when the kids don't have things on before the dark nights take the opportunity from me. The leaves are falling from the trees in the forest as I walk with the dogs, it's September tomorrow after all, got an urge to see Perthshire's late Autumn glory when I see the leaves starting to turn.
I did have a couple of misadventures on the beach this week too, but you might be eating, so I'll keep that story to myself for now.
Trip via Cheryl's on the way home to hand over belated birthday presents and be puppified by fluffy Duffy. It's all about being full of energy, then falling over sleep....and repeat.
