Beach

After having wanted to go to the beach ever since our first summer here, we finally made it today! We went the far end of the Rockaways, which have kilometers of beach and are a favorite weekend hangout for Manhattanites and other New Yorkers. Still, the beach we went to was not even that crowded because its a 20  min walk from the parking lot. Another first too today: a Zipcar brought us there, which is a US version of 'Greenwheels'.
