Florence

Have had the most wonderful day in Florence - our second last day here. I absolutely love this city, it doesn't have the frenetic energy of Rome, yet there is always something wonderful to experience around every corner.
Today we took a local bus up to the michaelangelo lookout - and the beauty that is Florence was laid out before me, with the Arno River in the foreground. The local bus is fantastic 2 euro for 90 minutes, hop on, hop off. Brilliant.
Tonight we are doing a Florence by night tour, so I'm hoping to get this same vista with evening lights.
Tomorrow we are off to ride vespas......
