Woodland light

The sun is noticeably lower in the sky as August comes to an end. Here it is slanting through the maple forest just by our garden. Love the way it catches the edges of the trees, highlighting bits here and there. 

It rained today. Yeah! Got out for a row early enough to have flat water. Then worked in the garden much of the rest of the day. Now that I am spending more time in the garden, I am more aware than ever before of where the light is at various times of the day.
