oops, i did it again.

evening all,

First real opportunity i've had for a bit of wool spinning for ages.

In actual fact it was not really the best night for spinning wool as the wind was tearing across the beach making it a bit problematic to say the least.

i have some new, more flammable, wool and this combined with temperamental gusts and a badly fastened supplies bag left me with a bit of a problem

namely i set the bloody bag full of steel wool on fire and spent the next fifteen minutes kicking it up and down Alnmouth beach trying to put it out.

Better was to come however, when in a weak moment i dropped my ignition source into my jacket pocket to deal with a collapsing camera tripod, forgetting i had previously filled said pocket full of combustible wool.

Tough jackets these ex army combat jackets, easily survive a pocket fire.........

Fingers less so, but there you go, live and learn etc.
