The Audience

This is a snap of the audience at an outdoor event at Holkham Hall Wednesday evening. So, we have lots of people in the lovely walled gardens, all age groups are represented including lots of children, and there are lots of picnics. Do you think it is a classical concert, a comedy show, a jazz quartet or what????  It's taken at a fabulous outdoor theatre performance by the Lord Chamberlain's Men of Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare. For those out there who think Shakespeare is difficult to understand and boring, I'd so recommend coming to an event like this and seeing how accessible it really is and how funny his Comedies are.  The company performs the plays as originally intended, using an all-male cast, dressed in Elizabethan costume and in the open air. This was a fabulous present by my great friend G and her husband M - a wonderful evening.
