Can you tell what it is yet?

After 30 years the venetian blind in our bedroom literally fell apart. Reluctantly I bought a new one. The main difference is that this one is not covered in irremovable dust and grime, so it reflects the sunlight onto the wallpaper in the mornings. 

And since no-one guessed Tuesday's mystery object - it was the positive terminal of a AAA battery - the clue was in the title (Time To Change)!
