Olivia aka Matilda

It seems strange seeing my daughter in a school uniform as she doesn't have to wear one at her school. When I explained that most children in the UK have to wear school uniform she was absolutely horrified, wondering "Why would everyone want to look the same? That would be horrible." As a teacher who has worked at schools with and without uniforms, I know there are pros and cons to both sides. However I love the fact that I now work at school where there are no uniforms.

So it seems that the day was a huge success at school, even though there were lots of Matildas and Willy Wonkas! And the food went down a storm!
