Influence, change and blessing

What a long day filled with interest and inspiration. Up before 5.30am I travelled to London for a work conference on strategies for influencing change and change makers.

Appropriate to have found a few minutes in the morning sun in Tavistock Square, to sit at the feet of a fantastic influencer and change maker who led by example and never feared to speak truth to power.

At the end of the conference I sped back north for an evening with the inspirational Nadia Bolz Weber in a packed church. Another leader who brings her distinctive transformational voice for radical grace and blessings for all who feel unblessed.

This meant that I also got to see many friends, colleagues and supporters at the end. Then quiet conversation and mutual support over tasty Indian street food at Urban Choola rounded off a thoroughly nourishing day and I got home after 11pm.
