Plane Spotting

Air traffic at Schiphol uses five runways. There are two places along the runways where you can watch aircraft take off and land up close and at your leisure. You will find these spotting locations next to runways 18R -36L (Polderbaan) and 09-27 (Buitenveldertbaan). Admission to these spotting locations is free.

But, there used to be a third one at the Kaagbaan (06-24) but the road leading there has been closed some time ago. I used to live really close to Schiphol and knew some shortcuts, and guess what... one of them is still accessible.
