Floating polyanthus

Three florets were lying on the pavement near a public garden. Someone had obviously snapped them off and then thrown them down. Makes you mad when they do that.
Anyway I put them in a crystal sundae dish and set about taking a photo with the macro lens. I added some drops of water but when I uploaded there was little specks of dirt and an aphid floating around so I washed them and had another go. Not quite so crisp but ok.
I put the dirty one in to see if you can see the specks. That's the trouble with macro it shows up everything.
