Hot roll

The dogs and I were going to go for a walk with Martie today, who we haven't seen for ages, but she will poorly so we went to the common as usual instead. It took about an hour an a half to make it round our usual route, though, as Basil was lagging a bit. At first I thought it was the heat but then it occurred to me that it might be arthritis making walking painful, so I'm going to see if the vet can give him anything to help with that.

Went out with the Easy Riders this evening and the nights are really drawing in now: it was pitch black by the time we left the pub at 9 pm. Yes, autumn is drawing in.
