Golden Hour #5

I've been thinking about trying to get a sunrise shot for ages and as we're on our 'staycation' it seemed a good time to go for it. Last night I um-ed and ah-ed about what time to get up and where to drive to. We live in the west and obviously I needed to go east for the sunrise. In the end I decided this would be a reconnaissance trip to see how far I needed to go and at what time.

I was out the house just before 6.30 and drove north towards Bonne Nuit and Bouley Bay. I stopped off at Les Platons and saw the sun over the horizon on the French coast. If you look large you might be able to see the wind turbines in the distance. I took this around 6.50 am so not too early at all.
