Back home again and I can't tell you how hard that feels.. I was so blissfully happy being away from the mundane.

A jaunt into the now busier than ever Festival City with my boy to do the school uniform shop was not high on my list but higher than ironing or cleaning.

This view brought me down to earth, made me remember how much I love my City and that being home isn't really so bad.

Results day tomorrow - what is lovely is that no-one is concerned, they are a bonus due to the girl's hard work last year. We are very lucky. I did however have a moment in a shop today when I bought a bargain for my girl to take away and then stopped stilll......... as I realised it is only a month before she leaves!

And to top the day off Today is Scarlett's Birthday. I read her entry for yesterday with such a sense of excitement and delight. It's all happening for her and life is looking well right up, by the way! Happy Birthday gorgeous girl - go get it all - it's waiting for you xxx
