Hurricane Moving Through

Well the heavy rain and gusty winds have definitely arrived in full force along with a surprisingly large amount of thunder and lightning.
I took this blip of the inlet at around 11am this morning before the really heavy stuff moved in. Contrast this with photos from the same area on this past Wed's blips. 
This is actually part of Goat Island and the goats should be huddling in their hut shelter.
There were quite a few egrets out there as well but I bet by now they have moved into a safer area.
Presently, we still have power and I'm hoping it will stay on all day.
We have a small river running through what should be a dry backyard right now.
Getting a bit dicey as I type this.
Hanging in as best we can at this point.

ETA: just looked out back and we had ducks floating by. Only trouble is that it is supposed to be a regular dry back yard and normally is dry but not today.We apparently have a new duck pond.
