Portland Bill
We hadn't started the day intending to visit Portland Bill, but, as our previous visit was in a howling gale, we decided that after visiting Thomas Hardy's cottage, that it was a must to revisit in much better and glorious summer sunshine. It did take quite a few minutes to get a good angle that wasn't also crammed with visitors.

A completely different day.
As I said we went to Thomas Hardy's birthplace in the morning - a lovely little but extremely well visited place.
The extra image below is of fruit and veg that was placed in a wheelbarrow at Hardy's cottage by the National trust gardeners that were working on site. They had been grown in the vegetable garden and were available for a donation.
I have also just blipped Wednesday's image.
