Not surprisingly.........

...........having got up at 0530 on Wednesday and finally getting to bed at 2100 on Thursday some 4000 miles away, I did not get the pint of ale I had promised myself when I arrived home.

So, after a trip to our favourite Oswestry bookshop (www.bookabookshop.co.uk), a wander through the French street market and the local park, we ended up this evening in the Black Lion for said pint of ale.

And jolly good it was too.
