Happy Birthday Little Man

Our little man officially turned 5 today. He exclaimed (after his 5.15am rise, which isn't unusual) that as he was 5 now his legs were longer (older = taller, which doesn't explain my mum at 5'2" and me at 5'10")

He got a wooden pirate ship from us for his birthday which he had to bring along to his birthday lunch at a local pub (his choice!, he wanted their sticky toffee pudding) so he could show Granny and Grampy. Afterwards it was a play centre with some friends. We live in hope that the excitement of the past few days may catch up with him and the pre 6am starts will wane, at least for a little while...
