From Stephen to Avenham is moving along beautifully. Curtain up on the first show, Friday 10th August at 2pm.

This is part of the set. At the front is the etheral tented village- home to the navvies who built Stocks reservoir. Just behind, you can make out the houses of Dale Head-drowned in the 1930s to make Stocks, and to supply water demand for the fast growing seaside resort of Blackpool.

Can you image today, a village in England being drowned to fuel urban growth? It would be unthinkable- it only happens in other countries..
