Christian couples

Had Sam and Hannah Hughes and the new minister from Duke street with his wife and 2 kids (born within weeks of our two) for dinner. An evening of easy conversation - enjoyed it! And Zion and Myla entertained themselves pretty well despite some bossy-ness!

Though felt for Joel and Rachel who then had to drive up to Otley straight from ours for his Mum's funeral the next day... (Did offer to postpone - but they were fine with it).

Feel rather in awe that they seem to be doing so well - his first job as the main minister, moved house from up north, bought their first house, completely doing up said house which is apparently a building site, and all this with two kids one of whom was 6 weeks when they moved(!) and now lots of trips up to Otley as his mum deteriorated and died! And he's my age, and she's Sam's age.
