Sweetheart Abbey

So called because Lady Devorgilla is buried here with the enbalmed heart of her husband.

No rain today, and we had a lovely time at Sandyhills beach with the Hungarian visitors. They played Frisbee and swam in the sea.

Now on our way home from the Gala pet show. Youngest son's ferret won third prize.

So many things I could have blipped today, but the green and sandstone of Sweetheart Abbey decided it for me.
