Bumper Crop

It was a Bank Holiday today! Which I believe is supposed to be filled with super exciting activities. But in our household it meant more sleeping time (for me) and more computer/working time (for Mum). I'm not sure that's how it was supposed to be!

But later in the afternoon we went to see Mum's sister! With a bag packed for overnight. I'm a bit reluctant to go ANYWHERE right now, but that's only 45 minutes away and I DO like going to visit them!

Before we left we picked all the red tomatoes off of our 4 tomato plants to take with. These are the plants grown from seeds sent to us months ago from our friends in Sweden (even though the seeds are English!). Mum is a novice gardener, and only 4 seeds grew, and that was after a LONG delay! So we are very happy that our plants are doing as well as they are. The tomatoes are super sweet! There are LOTS more still-green tomatoes left. We hope they ripen too!

This evening we enjoyed watching the first 2 episodes of the new drama series, Victoria. There's a royal dog in it!!
